My design philosophy is to problem solve with a curious and open mindset, leaving behind preconceptions and assumptive thinking.
- Service design to empower companies with design thinking
- Product design for healthcare and logistics platforms
- User-focused experiential design for augmented and virtual reality, mobile, and other digital platforms
I also write and speak about design best practices, workflow innovation, and personal industry experiences to help others learn and grow.
Companies I have designed for:
My work with Vineti – from 2019 to 2022 – a healthcare technology company, was focused on eliminating chemotherapy as a cancer treatment. As their Lead Product Designer, I worked to develop a logistics and data tracking desktop platform for end-to-end cell and gene therapy production and patient management. I also led customer research interviews, streamlined internal customer onboarding workflows across departments, and designed new features and workflows for autologous, allogeneic, and personalized cancer vaccine use cases.
My work with Helios Interactive – from 2015 to 2019 – an experiential design agency, was focused on meeting brands’ needs with cutting edge technology. As their Senior UX Designer I designed for all platforms including: desktop, mobile, touchscreen panels, motion tracking LCD, virtual reality and augmented reality. I also taught research and UX best practices throughout the organization.
My work with the Center for Digital Archaeology (CoDA) – from 2012 to 2015 – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by former archaeologists, was to help digitize and streamline archaeology workflows. As their UX Designer, I created wireframes, prototypes, final designs, and database architecture. In addition I also created sales materials, conducted user interviews and diary studies, and worked on computer vision techniques and analysis.
